08.02.2023 Wednesday night’s junior and senior private lessons both focused on stand-up grappling. The junior class looked at using the collar-tie and the under-hook to set up the throw-by whereas the senior lesson went back over the ankle pick.   My regular teacher consultancy lesson later on Tuesday evening took a stronger physical turn tonight as we began work on Dirty Boxing. In essence, this in-fighting and clinching, the use of trapping and standing grappling techniques whilst striking.
