31.08.19   I just taught one part of my usual duo of junior clients this Saturday. We have reached our seventh hour of their basic course on clinch/stand-up grappling. 21.08.19   Tonight’s junior lesson introduced another attack from the two-on-one for stand-up grappling as well as foot sweeps and the senior lesson went over some core material to be covered in Sunday’s Vagabond Warriors Muay Thai for Martial Arts Cross Training.   The junior lesson began with agility ladder warm-ups, this time including double leg takedown drills. 07.08.19   Wednesday’s junior lesson looked at some more agility training for wrestling and building attacks off the two-on-one. The senior lesson was concerned with switch-hitting and fighting the southpaw.   The first half of the junior lesson looked at various drills on the agility ladder. After some general and wrestling specific footwork we moved onto various crawls and escapes, including the sit-out using the ladder. 03.07.19   My junior client continued his clinch/stand-up grappling training with more work on the elbow and neck tie-up and outer reap throw, and was introduced to the two-on-one tie-up.   We warmed up with break-fall/roll combinations from all directions. Once I was confident these were smooth enough and we had discussed their benefits when reversing a technique we went straight into the elbow and neck tie-up.
