19.08.19   Reaching the fifth hour of my client’s first course on Basic Muay Thai for Martial Arts Cross Training it was important to bring in more resistance and to promote more fluidity between techniques. 15.08.19   Thursday began my client’s new course on sparring development. We will still be following progress from the previous two courses, but there will be a larger emphasis on fighting conditioning and better sparring in general. Today we looked at Western Boxing and Muay Thai.   The warm-up looked at agility ladder and cone activities, focusing more on tightening up footwork along with general coordination. 05.06.19 Wednesday night saw my junior client finish his long and extended course on Basic Muay Thai for Martial Arts Cross Training. Next week we will begin his Clinch/Stand-up Grappling course. The senior class that follows was largely based on stand-up sparring – Boxing, Muay Thai and MMA. The junior class consisted of 6 x 3 minute rounds of Boxing and Muay Thai. 05.02.19   Tonight saw the final part of my client’s 10 hour course in Western Boxing for Martial Arts Cross Training. From the beginning of this course, my client’s objective has been to learn the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. 28.11.18   Today was my Kingham Hill class’s second lesson in Muay Thai as part of their self-protection course. We revised the techniques taught in the previous lesson and introduced sparring.   The warm-up consisted of line-work, dynamic stretching, footwork and guard changing.
