We revised various material over the course and then looked at the back kick (deer kick) and the spinning heel kick (crocodile kick).   We warmed up with mirror footwork. 23.08.19 Monday night saw the completion of my client’s Basic Course in Muay Thai for Martial Arts Cross Training. We revised all the material covered in previous lessons – focusing on the round knee and sweeps – and I introduced the back kick. 29.08.19   We covered the third hour of my client’s course on Sparring Conditioning. We are currently focusing on the stand-up range (Boxing and Muay Thai). Today we ramped our training up to 10 x 3 minute rounds with one minute breaks to focus on specific areas.   The lesson began with dynamic stretching and sport specific callisthenics. 01.06.19 The final hour of my client’s mixed course on Muay Thai and Submission grappling went through various stand-up combinations and also a round of grappling sparring. We began with mirror footwork and some reaction drills. The first drill was the Dutch one-for-one kick repayment. Various kicks are exchanged to prompt returning a strike as quickly as possible. 10.04.19   Wednesday night was my normal junior/senior nephew/uncle double lesson. The junior lesson continued Muay Thai training, introducing escapes from kick-catches, whereas the senior lesson continued work on escapes from pins, focusing on escapes from the adjusted scarf-hold.   The junior lesson generally concentrated on refining everything that has been covered over the course. 26.03.19 Tonight my client completed his eighth hour of Basic Muay Thai for martial arts cross training. We specifically looked at kicks and introduced both the back kick and the spinning elbow. Training began with our usual warm-up routine of callisthenics and dynamic stretching. We did some mirror foot work, distancing and placing techniques.
