Special workshop

04.04.2025

Jack Heritage, founder and chief instructor of Cotswold Karate booked in Rokas Leonavičius of "The Martial Arts Journey" to teach a seminar at his club tomorrow on his Ultimate Self-Defense Championship. However, prior to this event Jack thought it was a good idea to have Rokas and four other instructors from the UK and Denmark.

We followed a fairly loose Vagabond Warriors format for two hours, looking to touch upon all ranges and switching between self-defence and martial arts. For example our early training was a series of constraints-led games focused on tactical escape and our final game also layered in self-defence, but most of the main material were games focused on better positioning for strikers, grapplers and when one faced the other. We trained stand-up, clinch, off the wall and on the group as well as against multiple antagonists.
