Hour five of my client’s current online course took us up to nine different combinations. Previously, we had trained up to five. All these combinations have MMA and Muay Thai techniques, but there is definitely a Dutch theme. They are lengthy and fairly complex, involving a lot of slipping punches and smuggling in kicks. They were done over 5 x 10 minute rounds, including one round of warming up. New techniques in this session including the superman punch and a back-fist combinations. Personally I prefer to use hammer-fists when it comes to gloved arts due to there being less padding on the striking area.
