My 1.5 hour client continued his MMA ground-fighting with work from the guard position. As with the previous his previous lesson, we worked from the hardest position onwards.
After a muscle activation and sport specific warm-up there were our 3-minute games:
- From flattened half-guard – move to dominant position or knee-shield vs land five continuous punches or pass guard
- Ditto
- Ditto from other side
- Ditto
- From knee-shield – move to dominant position vs land five continuous punches or pass guard

- Butterfly guard – stand-up or move to dominant position vs land five continuous punches or pass guard
