Hour two of my teacher client’s Submission Grappling course brought us back to top position. We worked through a series of series of games centred on the arm-bar from the top. These games broke down the entire set up, working first on establishing positions and then on transitioning. Due to the live nature, the client also alternated with defending against these positions and transitions.
Due to time constraints and the amount of material I wished to cover, we used 2-minute rounds only today. The first six rounds were concerned with fighting from and against specific positions whereas the next six rounds focused on transitioning to and escaping from the arm-bar position. This was following the usual specific warm-up.
